Just in case you haven't noticed, there's a war going on and that doesn't stop in Afganistan, Iraq and Palestine. Here at sheBear we consider it our duty to equip ourselves with information, and where possible to encourage others to do the same. Don't let the bastards win. If you truly believe that all people are created equal, it is your duty not to turn a blind eye to what is happening in the world that immediately surrounds you, either at home or abroad.
The threat to human rights, the bastardation of the real meanings of freedom, the exploitation and en-slaving of life are insidious and can only continue unabated if we let them flourish. Here are just a few links to people and organisations who dedicate their lives and resources to trying to bring us the truth.
We have added these links not to show you how hip and alternative we are at sheBear, but to implore you to use your gift as human beings to see through the illusions and to re-learn to participate in the fragile democratic structures that are hanging on by a thread. Remember, we are all in this together, and it doesn't matter what side of the political fence you set up your stall, these matters affect us all.
We apologise if this note of seriousness offends anyone, but really, if it does, perhaps you should ask yourself "why?"
